The ashtray self balances and always remains upright. Additionally, the ashtray rolls with a light push so that it can be passed around. The top of the ashtray can be pushed down to dispose of ash into the cup. A matchbox is below the cup, as seen in the photographs, that can have it's top lifted up to retrieve the contents.
