It's an excellent Santenots that has really fleshed out since I tasted it from barrel
nearly perfect conditions
When we started this business I swore this was going to be our first non-wine item offered
LEDA, CASTILLA Y LEON, VINAS VIEJAS 1998 (1.5L) Cider Domaine Gros Frere et Soeurbase of neck 92 points CellarTracker Member Drank from magnum, no decant. Purplish color, darker than expected, no discernible bricking. Nose of dark fruits, some leather too. Medium bodied, plenty of fruit, still fairly tannic and nicely structured wine. Some tertiary elements showing earth & meat, but leather mostly; the concentration of black fruits was the most noticeable aspect of this wine to me. As I recall, this was somewhat of a modern style
