Very cool ceramic bead from 1800s Japan

and rare ceramic "spindle whorl" bead from the Dogon tribe

4 chains soldered to decorative links

These beads were handmade in the Netherlands in the 1700's -early 1800's and traded in Mali with the Dogan people

Beads are approximately 4-5mm diameter x 12-14mm long

Needs a tiny repair, but in excellent condition otherwise. very Collectible! Outer diameter is 3 1 2 inches, inner diameter is 2 3 4 inches. This was worn in Mali, and probably dates back to the 1940's or 50's.
