1893 Chicago Worlds Fair East Indian Bldg. Hindostan - ORIGINAL HISTORIC FAI4 Advertising Agencies This is an original 1930"The East Indian Building." This is an original 1893 halftone print of the East Indian Building at the 1893 Chicago Worlds Fair. The Indian Building, which cost $15,000, was built as a bazaar in which Mr. S. J. Tellery, one of the leading East Indian traders, was to carry on his trade under the patronage of the native rulers of Hyderabad, Joodpoor, Patteeala, Kapoorthella, Mahoor, Mheend, Kerowlee and Kutch.
