1899 Halftone Print Juliette Recamier Costume Portrait French Society Hat XGQA4 XGRC1 National Phonograph CompanyThis is an original 1899 black and white halftone print of the enormously influential Juliette Rcamier, a leader of French society whose salon drew both political and literary guests from all over France. Chateaubriand was one of her admirers, as was Joachim Murat. She eventually died of cholera in 1849. CONDITION This 112+ year old Item is rated Near Mint Very Fine+. Light aging throughout.
