1904 Print Map Peninsular War Napoleonic Bidassoa Passage French British XEDA9 POS3 Kirk & CompanyThis is an original 1904 black and white relief line block map of the two battles of the Bidassoa River during the Peninsular War. The French Imperial Army under the command of Marshal Nicolas Soult crossed the river against Allied British, Spanish, and Portuguese forces in August of 1813, but was pushed back over the river in October of the same year. CONDITION This 107+ year old Item is rated Near Mint Very Fine+. Light aging throughout. No creases.
