1923 Print Henry Walthall Silent Film Actor Stage Movie Portrait Bography BBS1 XGWA2 50th Anniversary Vintage Advertising"Henry Walthall" This is an original 1923 two page black and white halftone print with a full page portrait and a brief biographical sketch of stage and silent film actor, Henry B. Walthall (1878 1936). He began his career in movies in 1909 at Biograph Studios in New York with a leading role in the film "A Convict's Sacrifice" and he went on to make many films with D. W. Griffith including "The Birth of a Nation" (1915). Please see both images.
