These crosses were commercially produced propaganda pieces mimicking the configuration of the German Iron Cross but ironically adorned with the 'battle honours' of 'war atrocities' perpetrated by German forces during the First World War

In very fine condition with tatty original ribbons

The mintage for this date was unrecorded but neither type turns up often

struck in an unknown alloy that appears to be lighter in colour than normal
