New York Early lithographed tin over cardboard advertising sign featuring the portrait of "Pocahontas" used by the Pocahontas Fuel Company, one of the largest producers and distributors of smokeless coal in the United States. The company operated out of New York's Broadway offices with mines in West Virginia, as listed along the lower edge of the sign. The portrait, framed
