1920 Print Volubilis Western Portico Basilica Antonius Meknes Fez Rabat XGR1 XACA6 HVD1A10B28C99This is an original 1920 halftone print of the Volubilis ruins in Morocco. These ruins are outside of Meknes between Fez and Rabat. This piece is an interesting view of Moroccans going about their days through these ancient sites. These ruins survived an earthquake responsible for the evacuation of the majority of Morocco sometime in the 3rd century AD. It is notable because this area was one of the few that were not evacuated by the Romans, who were
