Large Cobalt Blue "Oparte" Rounds blown glass heat-treaded quartz with a matteA nice 28" strand of deep cobalt blue beads traded with the Dogon people of Mali, West Africa. This is the best strand of these I've ever seen! Sizes average 24mm diameter x 17mm with a 7mm hole. Dutch made and traded in Africa in the early 1800's. There are some damaged beads on this strand, but overall in perfect condition! 44 beads on the strand.
