Single-Sided Tin Tobacco Sign vintage flag steel wheelsc. 1900s Tin advertising sign for Soldier Boy tobacco. Soldier Boy tobacco was manufactured by The B. Leidersdorf Co. of Milwaukee, WI. The company was started by Bernhardt Leidersdorf, a German immigrant who stirred up controversy after death for his manufacture of a line of tobacco with a racist name. It didn't seem to hurt his reputation in life as he served as a Republican alderman and debt commissioner in 1880s Milwaukee, in addition to running a
