CYRK Penny Farthing Riding Bear 1970 Polish Circus Poster, Jerzy Srokowski 80s Little marking in placesWe love this original Polish CYRK (circus) poster from 1970 with a lovely design by Jerzy Srokowski of a bear on a Penny Farthing bicycle. The Cyrk circus poster in Poland appeared for the first time in 1962 when the ZPR (Zjednoczone Przedsibiorstwa Rozrywkowe, or United Entertainment Enterprises), the state agency that oversaw the circus, commissioned leading artists from the Polish School of Posters to develop a modern approach to the circus poster.
