this frog would be great perched on a shelf or sitting on a desk keeping an eye on things

the details on what are left are pretty terrific I think--like the locks of her hair

The flower frog is in very good condition

2 3/4" tall x 1 1/4" wide x 3/4" deep

from the slightly drooping rose at its center to the buoyant lilac that you can just about smell

I am not sure this piece is that old I think perhaps mid to late 19th century but certainly it is very finely made, lathe turned, of a beautiful hardwood.
