This is a lovely memento from WWII, personalized and presented to US Army Lieutenant Colonel Fred Lewis Plahte. Judging from the size of the wooden propeller this was used on a small aircraft. The prop measures approximately 30 inches in length with a 4 bolt pattern on the center. The propeller was presented to Plahte when he was a Lieutenant Colonel (Promoted in 1950) during the Korean War era for his work being in
