done by a 14 year old Chantal Cheviot (signed on the edging on reverse) in the earlyish 20th century I would guess

I believe it is likely the oldest

and to my eye not at all detracting

There is a similar pair in the collection of the Nordiska Museum in Stockholm (a marvelous place!) that tells me they are likely Swedish; I have found an image of some Icelandic mittens several hundred years old they are kin to as well.
