A big of age toning but overall very good condition

among whom seaweed collecting and pressing was quite the thing during the Victorian era

Lovely Old Ball in Cage Whimsy Rattle with Fancy Underside leg I just love these oldDefinitely an old one, with a beautiful warm patina to the pine, and lovely detailing to the underside of the base, which makes it seem as if it could function as a butter stamp as well! The faceted top makes a perfect handle for waving out around as a rattle, and feels great in the hand. Very nice. 5 t x 1 1 8 wide and deep and in great, I would guess antique, condition.
