but I'm not sure I've ever seem one executed is such a painterly

I don't think these detract from the overall beauty of this piece

The couple met while attending the Kansas City Art Institute

and it has acquired quite a patina over the years

Gold Painted Chip Carved Tramp Art Mirror Frame native American face I like them both inI love the rounded ends and especially the star at the center on the top of this tall tramp art frame, which I believe was made to hold a mirror below and to be hung by the top bar, such that it could also easily be removed from the wall pretty handy. The frame has good age to it, originally painted the red that shows on the backside, then more recently painted the gold on it now, which is pretty bright, lending some glam to its folkiness. 17 1 2" t x
