The faces remind me of the work of Howard Finster--I think it's the noses turning into eye brows

and makes me think it's time to get serious about actually playing marbles as well

I have to think for a child who dragged him around everywhere and had separation anxiety when not in hand

Very rich tonally, dense with detail, very intimate feeling, and what a beautiful child. 5 1 4" x 4 1 4" overall and in good antique condition, c. 1900 or so I believe.
