The certificates for the next-of-kin crosses came in two types: those for widows were titled Ehrenkreuz für Witwen (Honour Cross for Widows)

For a brief period in the late 1930s

The revolver is also marked with serial number 242 under the barrel

Amazingly, the cork stopper is present. Overall condition of the canteen and cover is very good. The leather carry strap is complete and supple.
