the interfacing unit allowing a "Rabbit Ears" pair of Binoculars/Field Glasses to be mounted onto the standard German Optic's tripod

because of extremely cold weather and inadequate lighting the Station was moved to Molinfaing and set up in a school building

This rare helmet is a fine example and still retains all of its original WW2 parts and paint. Of most note are hand painted 24th division insignia to the sides of the shell. The steel shell is stamped S indicating Schlueter manufactured this helmet. The rim is both rust resistant and has "non magnetic qualities" that reduced the chance of error readings when placed around certain sensitive equipment (such as a compass).
