and with a fantastic yellow halo or crown around it

and would I think make a great little pedestal for a carved figure  or animal or other little this or thatl

I believe--features a rectangular top

The copper plate is firmly adhered to its original wooden block

and was enhanced with some green and white paint plus yellowy-cream paint across the flat of the stumps

Sloan, Maine, and I believe dating to the 1980s or so. I've found a few other birds signed by Sloan out there on the internet, but haven't been able to dig up anything about him, and don't have a first name.
