An interesting Heer EM NCOs tropical overseas cap, constructed of khaki tan cotton with a gentle whipcord weave. It is surrounded by fold down side walls, while an insignia has been hand applied to the peak and consists of a dark green rayon backer bearing a machine embroidered silver grey Wehrmacht eagle clutching a wreathed mobile swastika, measuring 65 mm (w) x 30 mm (h). Beneath the eagle, the cap is
