Both are 4 page folders, measuring 79x145mm and 105x150mm respectively, ID card in near mint condition, refugee ID very fine with one substantial rip. The owner of both is Walter Berndroth. The ID card was issued by the police department of the city of Essen, western Germany, on August 5, 1928, and is signed by a police official named Borghoff. The refugee ID was issued in Wechselburg, Saxony, on October 11, 1945.
