A Royal Military Order of St. George of the Reunion, Officer, c.1890 United Republic of the interior is fully lined(Real Ordine Militare di San Giorgio della Riunione). Instituted January 1st, 1819. Of typical French manufacture, constructed of silver gilt, consisting of a red enameled cross with a laurel and oak wreath as well as crossed swords in the quadrants between the arms of the cross, the obverse center medallion presents a figure spearing a dragon on horseback on a white enamel field, surrounded by a blue enamel ring inscribed VINCES IN HOC SIGNO, the
