Sweden, Kingdom. An Order Of Vasa In Gold, I Class Knight, By C. F. Carlman, C.1900 Newly Listed which was later changed to(Kungliga Vasaorden). Instituted on 26 May 1772 by King Gustav III. (Issued 1772 1975). Of superb quality and craftsmanship, consisting of a white enameled Gold Maltese cross with ball finials, with a Gold crown of Sweden in each quadrant, obverse roundel is charged with a vase and a sheaf encircled by a red enameled band featuring the inscription GUSTAF DEN III INST. MDCCLXXII (INSTITUTED BY GUSTAV III MDCCLXXII), with mirrored reverse roundel,
